Our coverage includes Maverick County, Del Rio, Uvalde, Carrizo Springs, and Crystal City, Texas, as well as Piedras Negreas, Acuna, Nueva Rosita, and Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico.  There are approximately 350,000 people in our listening area.

News

KINL and KEPS have been successful in establishing themselves as the only sources of accurate and reliable information for Eagle Pass and surrounding areas.  KINL and KEPS are committed to news and public affairs both locally and nationally.  Local  news and community events/information can be heard on KINL and KEPS Monday – Friday at 7:30am, 12 noon, and 5:00pm.  Listeners enjoy live and pre-recorded interviews with our news director, with more than 30 years of experience in the field.  CNN National News airs at the top of the hour 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and is presented in Spanish on KEPS.

Sports

As dedicated members of the Eagle Pass Community, KINL and KEPS are committed to supporting all youth sporting activities. The KINL and KEPS sports newscast airs Monday – Friday at 7:15am, 12:15pm, and 5:15pm and features local, national, and international sports coverage.  Our sports department, headed by Morris Libson, Jr. provides live play-by-play coverage of the High School football and baseball games.  In addition, we report on Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, and other little league baseball leagues, as well as other sporting events of local interest.
