Must be 21 to enter.

Must provide proof of age – DL or Photo ID
3.
Must read and sign rules. Signed rules acknowledges that rules
are understood and accepted by contestants
4.
Please note that the rules are subject to change at anytime
without competitor notification
5.
A copy of the rules will be posted at Border Bar and a copy
provided to each competitor
Each Wednesday the first 10 persons to sign up that qualify will compete
that evening…we will take one alternate’s name in case of any
eliminations
6.
We reserve the right to increase the number of weekly competitors
pending time.
7.
If a weekly contestant wins a weekly competition then they may no
longer compete in the weekly competitions as they have secured their
place in the finals.
8.
Songs must be selected from the in-house Border Bar Karaoke
Selection – no exceptions.
9.
No music allowed from any other source than the Border Bar
Karaoke Selection.
10.
Contestants not singing a weekly “themed” song will receive
reduced scoring points.
11.
Judges rulings are final – Disruptions or challenges to judges by
contestant or their friends or family will disqualify that contestant.
12.
Scored judging sheets will be available for contestants review
and will become the property of Border Bar.
13.
The weekly winners will each win $50
14.
The Border Bar finale will consist of the 6-weekly Border Bar
Karaoke Contest winners competing against each other October 22.
15.
The Border Bar Finale winner receives $500 cash
16.
In the event of a tie – a sing-off will be implemented – and the
contestants scored only on that sing-off.
17. Border
Bar and KINL-FM (Rhattigan Broadcasting) cannot be held liable for any
reason.
